Some people learn to play guitar. Some grow up singing. I was the kid who couldn’t draw, couldn’t carry a tune, and never quite fit into the traditional definition of an artist.
What I did have was an imagination that never shut off.
I grew up surrounded by creativity. My mom was a teacher, a scrapbooker, and one of those people who could turn ordinary moments into something worth remembering. I spent years in theater, fascinated by storytelling, emotion, and the way a song or a scene could make people feel something real.
Then a high school darkroom changed everything.
Photography became my first creative language. Over the next decade, that passion expanded into filmmaking, design, branding, marketing, and storytelling. I’ve photographed and filmed hundreds of weddings, built campaigns for businesses, and spent countless hours helping people tell their stories in a way that feels authentic.
Music was always there in the background.
The problem was that I wasn’t a musician in the traditional sense. I had ideas, emotions, melodies in my head, and stories I wanted to tell, but no practical way to bring them to life.
Technology changed that.
Jukebox Alchemist was born from the belief that creativity isn’t defined by the tool you use. It’s defined by the ideas you bring to it. Just as photographers embraced digital cameras, filmmakers embraced editing software, and designers embraced Photoshop, I embraced a new generation of creative tools that allow imagination to move faster than ever before.
Every song starts the same way: with a feeling, a memory, a question, a conversation, or a story worth exploring. The technology helps shape the sound, but the heart behind it is still human.
That’s what Jukebox Alchemist is about.
Taking fragments of emotion, experience, and imagination and turning them into something people can connect with. Sometimes that’s a love song. Sometimes it’s a song about loss, faith, doubt, hope, or the complicated mess of being human. Sometimes it’s simply a melody that finds the words someone else couldn’t.
Because at the end of the day, music has never been about how it was made.
It’s about how it makes you feel.
